Terms of use — ST1 Track

These terms apply to the ST1 Track app and st1track.com, published by Evoswiss (Switzerland), a STRADA1 product. They form an agreement between you and Evoswiss.

Using the app or the site means you have read and accepted these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, stop using ST1 Track and uninstall the app.

ST1 Track records times, GPS traces, sessions, circuits, stages and related data for information only. It is not official race timing, evidence, a navigation instrument or a safety device.

The app is not designed, intended or authorised for: use on public roads; exceeding speed limits; encouraging dangerous driving; or replacing your judgement, experience or safety measures.

Results may be inaccurate, incomplete or unavailable depending on GPS quality, environment, device, circuits published by other users, or software bugs.

ST1 Track must be used only on tracks or grounds closed to the public, during authorised sessions (circuit, karting, stage, closed technical area).

Any use on public roads is prohibited and is a breach of these terms.

You alone must check that the location is legal, appropriate and authorised, and that you have the required licences and insurance. The app does not excuse you from any legal, regulatory or contractual duty (highway code, track rules, insurance).

Motorsport and any on-track activity involve inherent risks, including serious injury, death and property damage.

By using ST1 Track, you accept those risks knowingly and take part at your own risk. No app can remove or guarantee the absence of those risks.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ST1 Track is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of accuracy, continuity, availability or freedom from errors.

Evoswiss, STRADA1, their officers, employees, contractors and partners disclaim liability for accidents, injury, death, property damage, fines, claims, data loss, unrecorded sessions, incorrect results, interruptions, or harm caused by distraction from the device.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of GPS, timing, analysis, maps, circuit sheets or content published by other users. We are not responsible for third-party services (hosting, mapping, payments, app stores).

If a total exclusion is unenforceable, Evoswiss’s aggregate liability to you for any dispute related to ST1 Track is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid Evoswiss for ST1 Track in the 12 months before the dispute, and (b) CHF 50. Mandatory consumer rights remain reserved.

You agree to indemnify Evoswiss and STRADA1 against any claim arising from your use or misuse of the app, a breach of these terms or the law, your conduct, or content you create or share.

You remain solely responsible for your driving, your safety and that of others; for circuit rules and the law; for proper safety equipment; for your vehicle; and for never handling the device in a way that compromises safety, including while driving.

ST1 Track does not replace your judgement, track instructions or safety equipment. Never let the app distract you while driving.

Authentication may use Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for your account.

ST1 Track is currently free on iOS. Paid features (for example ST1 Pro) may exist or be added via the App Store. Prices, renewals and cancellations then follow Apple’s terms. Except where the law requires otherwise, Evoswiss does not handle App Store refunds.

You are responsible for circuits, stages, sessions, traces and text you create or share. You must not create layouts on public roads, or publish illegal, misleading content or content that infringes third-party rights.

We may moderate, hide or remove content without notice. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display that content to operate ST1 Track. Leaderboards and public content may be visible to other users.

The app, website, logos, copy and the STRADA1® trademark belong to Evoswiss or its licensors, except user content. No licence is granted beyond personal, non-commercial use under these terms.

How we process your data is described in the Privacy Policy on this site, which forms part of these terms.

We may suspend or limit access in case of breach, a safety risk or a legal duty. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

We may change the app and these terms. Continued use after an update counts as acceptance, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Subject to the same reservation, disputes are submitted to the Swiss courts.

If one clause is invalid, the others remain in force.

Motorsport involves inherent risks. ST1 Track is only a timing tool. It does not replace your judgement or safety measures. Never use it on public roads.
