Home/CarPlay lap timer
Your circuit timer, on the car screen
ST1 Track is an iPhone circuit lap timer whose timer stays readable on the CarPlay screen.
You leave the phone where it is. The essential session information stays in front of you.
Available on iPhone. Android is coming soon.
What CarPlay shows during the session
Leave your iPhone where it is. Your lap timer and the essential information stay visible on the car's CarPlay screen.
On iOS 26, ST1 Track uses Live Activities. This is not a full telemetry suite in the car. It is the session timer, readable while you drive.

The same session as on iPhone
CarPlay is not a second app you have to start. It is the session already running on iPhone, also visible on the car display.
Laps are detected automatically. You do not restart a timer by hand at every start/finish line.
The rest of the Apple ecosystem
CarPlay is one place the timer appears. The same session also stays available on iPhone, the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch.
The iPhone page describes those four surfaces together.
Without a network, the session continues
A circuit often has poor reception. ST1 Track also times without a connection.
The CarPlay screen is there to read the session. It does not depend on loading a web page at the side of the track.
FAQ
Does ST1 Track work with CarPlay?
Yes. On iOS 26, ST1 Track Live Activities show the timer and the essential session information on the CarPlay screen.
Do I need a separate CarPlay app?
No. You start the session in ST1 Track on iPhone. The timer then stays visible in CarPlay through Live Activities.
Does CarPlay replace lap analysis?
No. CarPlay is for following the session while you drive. Sectors, braking, speed, the theoretical lap, history and leaderboards stay in ST1 Track.
Does the CarPlay timer need a timing box?
No. ST1 Track times with the iPhone, without an extra box.
The car screen already shows the road.
It can show your lap timer too.
